2019 District Two Fall Leadership Conference

We are excited to announce that the 2019 AAF District 2 Fall Leadership Conference will be hosted by AAF Baltimore in Baltimore, MD at the beautiful and historic Lord Baltimore Hotel.

Agency Tour and Lunch | 11:30 am
Take a tour of some of Baltimore’s amazing agencies and design studios — big and small — and enjoy a catered lunch along the way! You’ll get a chance to see the work coming out of Charm City as well as get a glimpse of the creative culture. The agency tour is sponsored by SharpSpring.

Perched on the hotel’s 19th floor rooftop with stunning views of the surrounding skyline, the open-air LB Skybar draws a fashionable crowd with its hand-crafted cocktails and a full menu of light bites.

Dinner the Versailles Room | 6 – 9 pm 
Versailles Room is a French-inspired ballroom replete with vaulted ceilings, inviting colors, and gourmet dining. Dinner will feature a custom-crafted chef’s menu with a fresh take on local and regional fare. There’s a reason Baltimore is recognized as one of the top dining destinations in the U.S.

Mt. Vernon Oktoberfest | Post-dinner until 11 pm
After dinner, celebrate our local connections to German culture, art, dance, music, food, and beer in Baltimore. The 2-day festivities of Oktoberfest include a biergarten serving local Baltimore beers, local takes on traditional German foods, musical performances by a variety of traditional Bavarian folk bands as well as contemporary musicians, traditional alpine dance troupes and dance lessons, theatrical performances and readings of short plays, musicals and poems, a Bavarian-themed Drag Show, and Oktoberfest games.

Each event starts with 1:1 instruction from dedicated coaches that will have a group hitting bullseyes in no time. Then round-robin play begins, competing for points to seed attendees for the final tournament to crown an axe-throwing champion.
