Marc Fischman is a serial entrepreneur who started his first business in high school. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1996, with a degree in computer science, he developed emerging Internet technology for EDS and their Fortune 500 clients. While receiving his MBA at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Israel, Marc played critical roles with many Israeli startups and helped fuel the movement of Israeli tech companies into the US. Then, he decided to drop in on the U.S. himself and test out a new idea he developed to activate social media fans and followers in a revolutionary way. Fast forward three years, his company, Hyperactivate.com has built an Advocate Management Platform in answer to customer needs in social media. Fischman and Co-Founder Gilad Zirkel, who is head of technology and based in Tel Aviv, have worked with major companies and media properties, including McDonalds, M&M’s, MTV, NBC, and Random House, just to name a few.
